SurfexThe transformation to a more sustainable world is also challenging for the paint and coatings industry. Therefore, sustainable raw materials are becoming increasingly important.
Improvements can be made in many ways. One possible approach is to increase the proportion of renewable raw materials. Alkyd resins in particular are by definition already based on larger proportions of bio based and renewable raw materials.
We would like to show how Camelina oil can help to increase sustainable shares in alkyd resins even more without sacrificing excellent performance characteristics especially in wood care products. In particular, we will provide an overview how Camelina combines various advantages for a more sustainable future.
