James is a researcher at the Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating based in Swansea University and is the inventor behind the recyclable silver conductive ink technology.

James’ background is in the formulation of novel materials for printing and in the rheological measurement of process materials. He has been the leading researcher on projects including Advanced Rheology for Printed Large Area Electronics, Advanced Function Micro & Nanomaterials, and the Heated Garments for Elite Sport. He worked on the development of the prototypes, which were used by gold medal winning British athletes at the Olympic games in Tokyo.
