Being the ‘behind the scenes’ technical and process improvement person for nearly 20 years working from the complete process within the decorative coating industry so far from making bases to formulating the paint and helping with the marketing the launch of products for 2 of the leading brands being manufactured in the UK with the first 16 years of my career within the formulation and process improvement areas of Farrow and Ball with great success. During the lockdown in 2020 I had an opportunity to work with one of the pioneers of the furniture upcycling movement, Annie Sloan to help grow the range of products, improve the current products to reflect our eco motivations and to head up the manufacturing and research as well as QC & research and technical departments for the next generation of paint and processing within the paint factory based in Oxford, reducing waste and providing the best products.
