Roger Brown began his career in the paint industry in 1991 working at the Paint Research Association in Teddington. For the past 25 years, he has worked from the Crown Paints site in Darwen, in a variety of roles, initially for Akzo Nobel and latterly for Hempel. He is currently a Lead Scientist for Hempel Decorative, with a major focus on improving the sustainability of architectural paints.
