I am in the final year of my Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Materials, Modelling, and Manufacturing (M2A) at Swansea University. I have completed a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Sustainability and Environmental Engineering.

My research, conducted in collaboration with Tata Steel UK, centres on the analysis and optimisation of existing organic coating systems, as well as the development of novel sol-gel coatings for coil-coated steels. Through my research I have been able to develop sol-gel coatings that that not only meet industry standards but also contribute significantly to sustainability, offering practical alternatives to traditional fossil-fuel-based coatings in the coil-coating sector.
