IOKAL Group specializes in the production of fine-grained products from amorphous & crystalline calcium carbonate, as well as talc, calcite granules.
Today, a very wide range of products is produced, which practically covers all applications where calcium carbonate and talc are being used.

IONIAN KALK is amongst the leading producers of calcium carbonate in Europe and market leader in Greece since 1979, having 3 production units, in Kefalonia, Athens and Kavala, with a staff of > 150 people and a turnover of > 25 million euros, while remaining a privately owned family run business.

The total production capacity of the IOKAL Group for the fine-grained products (< 40 μm) of amorphous calcium carbonate amounts to 450,000 tons/year, for the granular products of crystalline calcium carbonate to 190,000 tons/year and for the fine-grained products (< 50 μm) talc to 40,000 tons/year.
