Growing Support for Surfex 2020
The organisations and associations we collaborate with on Surfex are a fundamental component of the event. These leading institutions address a range of relevant topics of significance during the Industry Insight sessions.
As well as the Oil & Colour Chemists Association (OCCA) – joint organisers of Surfex – key contributors to the Industry Insight programme include the Royal Society of Chemistry – Surface Coatings Industry Group (RSC – SCIG) and the British Adhesives & Sealants Association (BASA).
We will also be joined for the first time in 2020 by the Nanotechnology Industries Association.
The NIA (www.nanotechia.org) works on behalf of its members to support the development of nanotech innovations that improve the lives of consumers, preserve our environment and advance our world. Its mission is to support nanotechnology industries by ensuring a strong industry voice is present global nanotech policy and regulatory discussions; communicating the essential role of nanotechnology in improving our daily lives and advancing our world; and helping and supporting NIA members to bring nanotech innovations to the market.
Headquartered in Brussels, with representatives across Europe, the NIA provides assistance to its members in several areas including regulatory support and advocacy, representation at critical governmental fora (such as ECHA and OECD), and networking and promotion of nanotechnology, and through building a functional ecosystem to support nanotech innovations. Membership is available to companies engaged in nanotechnology, organisations that provide a service around nanotechnology or affiliated organisations, such as non-profits and associations.
