Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA)
The Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA www.nanotechia.org) works on behalf of its members to support the development of nanotech innovations that improve the lives of consumers, preserve our environment and advance our world. Its mission is to support nanotechnology industries by ensuring a strong industry voice is present global nanotech policy and regulatory discussions; communicating the essential role of nanotechnology in improving our daily lives and advancing our world; and helping and supporting NIA members to bring nanotech innovations to the market.
Headquartered in Brussels, with representatives across Europe, the NIA provides assistance to its members in several areas including regulatory support and advocacy, representation at critical governmental fora (such as ECHA and OECD), and networking and promotion of nanotechnology, and through building a functional ecosystem to support nanotech innovations. Membership is available to companies engaged in nanotechnology, organisations that provide a service around nanotechnology or affiliated organisations, such as non-profits and associations.
