Professor Stefan Bon

Prof. dr. ir. Stefan A. F. Bon is a full and tenured professor in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Warwick. He is an international player in the scientific area of polymer colloids. His research team (https://bonlab.info) combines polymer and colloid chemistry with soft matter physics and adds a chemical engineering twist. The gained know-how is then coupled to material properties and behavior with the aim to advance material design, often in close collaboration with industry. In the last two years a “green transformation” on how to approach and tackle scientific projects has been undertaken with a strong emphasis on sustainable technology and innovation.
