Prof. Justin Perry

Justin Perry is a Professor of Chemistry in the School of Geography and Natural Sciences at Northumbria University. His main research interests are creating sustainable materials and chemical methods, especially using industrial byproducts or biosourced waste. He is aso interested in using biotechnology in the creation of highly functional materials with biological or enzymatic componentry. His research is funded by research councils, charities, UK regional authorities and companies of all sizes from SMEs to multinationals. I am interested in multidisciplinary projects at all TRLs, especially if there’s a sustainability angle.
