Professor Davide Deganello is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Swansea University and Director of the Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating (WCPC), a leading international centre in printing technologies and printed electronics. His research focuses on the development of printable functional materials and advanced manufacturing processes, particularly for energy storage, flexible electronics, e-textiles, packaging and biomedical applications. His expertise spans material formulation, rheology and roll-to-roll processing. Davide has led major research projects funded by UK Research Councils, European programmes and industry, translating innovations in functional coatings and printed devices into patents, industrial applications and scalable manufacturing solutions.
