Alex Fletcher is a PhD researcher in the BonLab group at the University of Warwick, supervised by Professor Stefan A. F. Bon. His work focuses on the design and development of next-generation, sustainable materials, with a particular emphasis on degradable polyester latexes as alternatives to conventional acrylic adhesives. Alex’s doctoral research is commercially sponsored, bridging academic innovation with industrial application. His interests span polymer chemistry, colloid science, and the translation of laboratory research into practical technologies. Through his work, Alex aims to contribute to more sustainable materials and processes that align with current green principles without compromising on performance.
