In recent years the techniques for fabricating nanoscale materials have matured significantly, to the point where researchers/scientists are able to tailor their properties toward particular applications, allowing the production of truly functional nanomaterials, which utilise these properties and allow the fabrication of range of new and exciting products and technologies. CPI’s National Formulation Centre works across many platforms such as graphene, printable electronics, paint and coatings. Here we present a concept of how we functionalise and process nanoparticles for use in formulation and the use of different characterisation techniques for nanomaterials.

Speakers

  • Dr. Farai Carter Senior Research Scientist – Coatings and Colloid Science - CPI
